Hello! I'm Alexandra (Ali) and I am an energetic, nurturing, and responsible nanny looking to provide support to an Ottawa family for the Summer 2024 period. I have extensive experience in both childcare and youth program development. I've worked as a Summer Camp Director, Sports Coach, Youth Program leader, and Camp Counsellor, among other positions. I also have knowledge and experience working with children with special needs, and have undergone trainings with both Special Olympics Canada and the Gloucester Association for Children with Special needs. :-) I have Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Psychology at Carleton University. Much of my coursework has focused on early childhood development, learning and memory, as well as mental health and well-being. I am also fully bilingual French/English. Beyond childcare, I am also skilled in housekeeping, meal preparation, and pet care. I am open to discussing additional duties as needed.
