I love working with children, and helping them to explore and learn about the world. I think I am most suited to working with school-aged children, as I feel my educational background would allow me to support them with school work and other learning pursuits, however am happy to work with all ages. I am looking to get back into babysitting to add variety in my employment, as I also work to start my career in Teaching. Summer Camps 2000 to 2012 - Summer camp staff, from counselling, instructing (swimming, canoeing, nature, and outdoor living skills), led wilderness canoe trips. Supervised staff 17 to 25, helping them develop skills needed to care, support, and nurturing of children 6 to 16. 3. Volunteering and Other 2000 to Present - Volunteer, Girl Guides of Canada. Includes supervising youth 5 to 12 in weekly meetings, weekend camps, and other outings. 2005 to Present - Adult Supervisor, Ontario Youth Parliament. Supervise 4-day debating conference for 100 youth aged 14 to 21.
