Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hi my name is Freya I moved to Canada from Australia on a 2 year working holiday visa in November. I am looking for a family to nanny for preferably with accommodation. I started babysitting when I was 13 years old and when I turned 16 I stated studying childcare. I have 4 years experience working in a childcare centre, I have a cert 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care. Back home I work in childcare with children aged 6 weeks old to 6 years old. I am very passionate about children, I love working with and caring for them. I find children very entertaining and it brings me so much joy and happiness when I engage with them. I love getting to know their cheeky personalities and watching them learn new skills as they grow. I have lots of experience caring for infants and primary school children. I would prefer a live in position. As a live in nanny my duties would include light housework cleaning up after myself and the children, making and preparing food for the children, I will provide educational activities, assist with homework, tell and read storybooks, play, go on walks as well as providing a safe and stimulating environment. I will build a strong relationship with your children as well as following your children's routines, attending to their needs and encourage independence and growth. I do not have a Canadian drivers license however I am very independent and capable of taking public transport. I believe in positive reinforcement and developing young minds to ensure that children develop into confident, well-rounded individuals.
