Nanny in Gibsons, British Columbia

I am open to a Nanny share, working with one family at a time, Part- or Full-time hours. I have successfully opened and ran a Licensed Family daycare for a year and a half and I am grateful for all that I learned and gained from the BC Community care and assisted living act. I have my CPR/ first aid Certificate, RA 20 Hour Certificate, 8 years' experience as a Nanny and Excellent references! The most important thing for me would be finding the right fit and that everyone involved would be happy with the arrangement. When I am providing childcare in a Nanny position, I prefer the children and I to spend most of the day outside. Whether that be a forest/ Beach walk (Rain or shine), community programs including strong start, library story time, and any age-appropriate classes. The family (Families) I work for would be okay with their children taking the city bus and being out in the community. As well as my 5-year-old daughter joining us at the end of the day for a couple hours. My rate as a Nanny for a single family starts at $25/hour with a negotiable contract. The Nanny share rate would be minimum wage paid by each family. Which is $15.65/ hr. x2 Along with childcare, I have always found joy in my previous nanny positions by helping families in other areas of their daily life. These things include recycling run, meal prep, filling/ emptying dish washer, Laundry and other light housework. These tasks would be accomplished during nap/ quiet time and only if the day allowed it. Being a nanny for a range of different families, I have always been happy to help out with any errands that need to be done as well. You name it! I am happy to help!
