Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I have a total of 8 years working with children of various ages. I am currently a dance instructor for children 2 years of age and above. I have held this position at a variety of locations for 7 years. As well as being a dancer myself for a company that is often involved in childrens shows within malls, theme parks and private functions. As well, I was a leader at a residential girls camp for 4 years in which I was responsible for 10 girls at a time, 24 hours a day for 1 month. I have also provided programs for toddlers and their parents in which songs, rhymes and games are taught to new parents who have limited English proficiency. I have worked for a City of Toronto day camp in Etobicoke as a leader which involves a full day of programming, with the inclusion of cooking, drama and science activities. I have recently been promoted from leader to coordinator in which my responsibilities greatly increase. In this position I am responsible for training staff members, overseeing the overall camp programming,programming for camp wide events such as theme days and trips, and ensuring that the camp runs smoothly. I have also worked as a supply staff member for an inner-city YMCA day care facility for 1 year.
