I\'ve spent two summers as a counsellor for Camp Gesher, as well as a summer as a CIT. There I maintained and encouraged the mental, physical, and emotional health of campers through educational and non-educational activities, created a safe space for campers to explore and challenge their identities and the world around them.
Between the summers I have helped run the year youth round activities sponsored by the Camp and I am currently the co-ordinator of the Toronto chapter.
From January - May of 2014 I tutored English at an elementary school in Holon, Israel and created and ran group-building and English-language activities at a local after school centre for neighbourhood youth .
