She was our nanny for my two children who were ages 2 years and 8 months at the beginning of her employment. She was an excellent nanny and I trusted her implicitly with the safety and well being of my children. She was fun-loving and responsible. My children developed a deep affection for her. She always followed my wishes as far as their care and the care of the house. She was able to cook with a great deal of skill and take care of the light housekeeping and laundry. ​As the children grew older, she was able to tailor the activities she did with the children, to suit their interests. She played with them a great deal and the house was always full of laughter. My children adored her. While I was sad to see her go, my children were in school full time so we no longer required her services. From August 2014 to April of 2015, Mildred provided excellent care as a nanny to my son Conrad who was two years old at the time. Mildred is a reliable, caring, and attentive nanny. She showed up early every morning and never missed a day of work. Her greatest strength is in caring for children. Conrad became very attached to Mildred, and I often heard them laughing, playing, singing, or reading together while I was getting ready for work. It was reassuring as a parent to see how happy Conrad was to see Mildred each morning, and to leave for work knowing he was content and secure with Mildred. Mildred also performed light housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, making beds, cleaning the bathroom, and other tasks as requested. In addition, she prepared meals for Conrad during the day, and dinner for our family several nights each week. Mildred is able to follow recipes and prepare meals according to instructions, without issue. I have no hesitation recommending Mildred for a nanny position.
